Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account and use MarketsLens, we hold:

  • Account details — your email address and login credentials, handled by Supabase (our authentication provider). We never see or store your raw password.
  • Subscription status — your plan tier and billing status. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Product usage data you create — markets you've chosen to track, journal entries you write, notification preferences, and (if you generate one) an MT5 indicator API key.
  • Contact form submissions — name, email, and message, if you get in touch.

2. Cookies & local storage

Your login session is held in local storage (not a cookie) by our authentication provider, purely so you stay signed in — that's always on, and it's strictly necessary. If you accept the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to understand traffic (pages visited, general location, device type); it's off by default and only loads after you accept. We use no advertising or marketing tracking scripts of any kind, and Google Analytics never has access to your account data.

3. Who we share data with

Supabase (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and, only if you've accepted analytics cookies, Google Analytics are the third parties involved — each strictly for that purpose. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone. Market/price/macro data shown in the app is public information about markets, not about you.

4. Where your data lives

Product data (subscriptions, tracked markets, journal entries, preferences) is stored in our own database. Authentication is handled by Supabase; payments by Stripe. Both are established infrastructure providers with their own security and data-handling practices.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us and we'll delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal/tax purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR to do the same, and to complain to your local data protection authority if you're unhappy with how we've handled a request.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data: get in touch.

This site stores a login session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in, and (only if you accept) uses Google Analytics to understand traffic. No marketing or ad-tracking cookies either way. Privacy Policy
