Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. What MarketsLens is

MarketsLens (the "Service") shows Commitment of Traders (COT) positioning data published by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), alongside computed analysis built on top of it -- campaign zones, position events, volume and swing structure, and related tools.

2. Not financial advice

MarketsLens is a data and research tool, not investment advice. Everything shown is backward-looking and descriptive -- it explains what positioning and price have done, not what they will do. Where we've tested whether something predicts future price movement, we say so plainly, including when the answer was no. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Trading futures, forex, and related instruments carries a real risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service beyond the public marketing pages. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid tiers are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You can view your plan, update payment details, and cancel at any time from Account → Billing, which opens Stripe's own billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise in a specific case. Prices and what's included in each tier can change with notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, or republish data or computed metrics from the Service to third parties;
  • Scrape, bulk-export, or programmatically access the Service outside of any API access we've explicitly provided you (including the MT5 indicator's own feed, which is licensed to your account only);
  • Attempt to circumvent account or subscription-tier restrictions;
  • Use the Service in any way that disrupts it for other users.

6. Data sources

Positioning data originates from the CFTC's public Commitment of Traders reports. Price data is sourced from third-party market data providers. Macro release data (e.g. NFP, CPI) comes from public government/central-bank sources. We work to keep this data accurate and current, but we don't guarantee it's error-free or delivered on any particular schedule -- source data can be delayed, revised, or occasionally unavailable.

7. The MT5 indicator

If you download and use the MarketsLens MT5 Expert Advisor, it's licensed to your account via an API key, for your own use on your own MetaTrader terminal. Don't share your API key or redistribute the indicator file.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made using information from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
